Glencadam Distillery is delighted to announce the release of a new limited edition Oloroso sherry cask finish expression, which pays homage to the long history that the distillery has with sourcing casks from the world famous sherry region, Andalucia in Spain.
To create Reserve Andalucia Glencadam Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, carefully selected sherry and bourbon casks from the ancient dunnage warehouses at the distillery, which date back to 1825. These casks were then married together and the whisky finished in exceptional Oloroso Sherry butts, which Robert had personally chosen from some of the finest sherry bodegas in Andalucia.
The result is a rich and refined whisky, which retains all the sweet and spicy character that makes Glencadam so unique, balanced with a delicious, smooth and honeyed finish.
This is a global release (note: available in the UK from August 2020 ).
